My general field of research is Bayesian nonparametric modeling. Within this framework, I am particularly interested in model development and applications in Survival Analysis, Fisheries Management/Ecological System Modeling, and Neuroscience. I have specifically worked on developing regression inference methods for the mean residual life function for survival data, dependent Dirichlet process mixture modeling for multiple time series of neuronal firing, and Gaussian process models for nonlinear and nonstationary ecological systems.
