He have a BS degree in Chemistry from University of Texas at Tyler and his MS and PhD degrees in Zoology from Miami University (Ohio). His post-doctoral training was done at the University of Lethbridge in Southern Alberta. He have published 40 peer reviewed articles, many co-authored with undergraduate or graduate students.
